CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF TOURLOTI
It is located 25 km from Sitia and 45 km from Agios Nikolaos. With its narrow alleys, jasmine-filled courtyards, and the distinctive historical Church of Panagia (Holy Mary) with its characteristic dome, the village retains the image of an authentic Cretan community. The residents are mainly engaged in agriculture and livestock farming.

The three-aisled parish church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary stands on the highest point of Tourloti, overlooking the entire area, which has been inhabited since Minoan times.
